Conceptual Design
Our team of integrated transportation, land use and urban design professionals work with communities to development conceptual streetscape and community plans for the improvement of downtowns and neighbourhoods. We take pride in our contextually-sensitive approach to communities and in developing solutions that are built on a firm technical backing, but in respect of the context they are applied.

Environmental Sustainability
Whether a transportation, land use or urban design project, our team places environmental sustainability as a primary objective. We recognize that transportation and urban development, the two areas in which we focus, are two of the key avenues by which our civilization can minimize our global ecological footprint. Recognizing our influence in these areas, we seek to work with communities to develop solutions that meet functional and economic criteria, but ensure environmental integrity through each and every process.

Policy Planning
At Boulevard Transportation Group, we believe that the development of a policy framework is the first and most important step in effective and sustainable long-term community planning. The Boulevard Transportation Group team works with stakeholders to develop a thoughtful and considered policy direction that accurately reflects a community's vision. We also offer implementation assistance, to ensure defined goals and objectives are supported. We have worked with a number of communities on various policy plans, including Official Community Plans, Development Permit Areas and design guidelines, transportation master plans, parks and trails master plans, pedestrian master plans and bicycle master plans. Each of these experiences have proven positive in developing a community's long-term direction.

Community Consultation
The Boulevard Transportation Group team specializes in public consultation and multi-stakeholder communications, offering expertise in focus groups, facilitation, design charettes and conflict resolution, education and workshops. Using professional presentation techniques, attractive displays and renderings, complicated ideas become accessible and understood by the affected community.
